The Philadelphia Flyers took to the ice and gave the fans what they came for: a great game. It was a delight for fans, coaches and the players themselves because this season hasn't been that enthusiastic for some when it comes to the Flyers playing. For the most part, there are more than a few who will say that the season has been disappointment when it comes to how these guys have been playing but if you caught the last game against the Penguins, you have to change your mind and take a closer look at this group of guys.

Goal scorers in the game against the Penguins were J. Carter, J. van Riemsdyk, M. Carle, C. Pronger and M. Richards. When the final buzzer rang, the Flyers had shaved seven points off the ice, taking home a victory with a 3-point lead over the Penguins. The win places the Flyers in ninth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a total of 45 points thus far. The top skaters in the 2009-2010 season are Richards, Carter and Pronger and it should come as no surprise that these three are running close in points with both Richards and Carter at 37 thus far and Pronger close behind with 30 points.

With a good portion of the season still left to play, the Flyers have plenty of time left and games to be played to sharpen up their skills and produce more wins like those at the beginning of the season and the recent wins against the Penguins and Maple Leafs. The schedule keeps the Flyers on the ice with little interruption in January so it's a perfect time to show off their skills and get some more wins under their belts.

The Flyers play all of their home games at the Wachovia Center. This venue is not just for hockey games and features many different events including fantastic concerts, basketball games, circus events, wrestling and much more. Wachovia Center is located at 3601 S. Broad Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The entire building is smoke free except for Finnigan's Wake back Room and the Philadelphia Park Sports Bar. If you leave the building to smoke, however, a user must give you a re-entry pass to get back to the game.

There is spacious seating around the entire expanse of Wachovia Center whether you enter from Broad Street, Pattison Avenue, Eleventh Street or the I-95 side. Restaurants are conveniently located along the space behind sections 117 through 121. The oval design of the center makes for excellent sites from every seat in the house. Anyone over the age of 2 must have their own seat in the lower level.

Premium seating is available on the club box level, suite level and mezzanine level. Premium seating is available for just two or for a group as large as 136 people. There are 82 luxury suites, 14 club boxes, 26 balcony suites, and 18 club suites. Features of these seating locations include VIP parking, leather armchairs, flat screen television, private restroom and concierge services. Whenever the Flyers take to the ice at home, these vantage points are excellent and offer the kind of luxury you'll be glad to extend to clients, business partners, friends and family.

Wachovia Center is easily accessible from Harrisburg, Lebanon, Reading and Pottstown via the Pennsylvania Turnpike. From Northeast Philadelphia, Levittown and points north, you can take I-95 South. From South Jersey, you can take the Walt Whitman Bridge. From Delaware, Maryland, Delaware County, Chester and I-476 you can take I-95 North. Whatever direction you come from, expect to enjoy the Wachovia Center and it's amenities as you cheer on the Flyers.
